All loose ribbon is supplied in 20cm lengths as full size or miniature.
The full size ribbon is 32mm wide and has light blue centre (18mm), with thin stripes of yellow (2mm) on either side with borders of black (5mm).
The miniature ribbon is 16mm wide and has light blue centre (8mm), with thin stripes of yellow (1mm) on either side with borders of black (3mm).
These colours and the layout represents the continuous service of the Air Force during both night and day.
