AIR CREW EUROPE STAR – MINIATURE

The medal is a 6 pointed star with a circular centre, with a maximum width of 19mm and 25mm high from the bottom point of the star to the top of the eyelet. It has a ring suspender which passes through an eyelet formed above the uppermost point of the star.

Obverse
This six-pointed star has a circular centre with the GRI/VI monogram, surmounted by the Royal crown, and inscribed ‘The Air Crew Europe Star’.

Reverse
The reverse of the medal is blank as with all World War II Campaign Medals.

Ribbon
The ribbon is 16mm wide and has light blue centre (8mm), with thin stripes of yellow (1mm) on either side with borders of black (3mm). These coloures and the layout represents the continous service of the Air Force during both night and day.

Packing
