AFRICA STAR – LOOSE RIBBON

All loose ribbon is supplied in 20cm lengths as full size or miniature.

The full size ribbon is 32mm wide. It is a pale buff colour ribbon, which has one red stripe in the middle (9mm)with a narrow dark blue stripe (1.5mm) on to the the left of the red stripe and a narrow light blue stripe(1.5mm) to the right.

The miniature ribbon is 16mm wide. It is a pale buff colour ribbon, which has one red stripe in the middle (5mm)with a narrow dark blue stripe on to the the left of the red stripe and a narrow light blue stripe to the right.

The pale buff background symbolises the desert, the central red stripe symbolises the Army, the dark blue stripe symbolises the Navy and Merchant Navy, and the light blue stripe symbolises the Air Force.
