AFRICA STAR – SLIDE ON RIBBON BAR

The Ribbon Bar on a metal carriage is to allow it to slide onto Stacking Ribbon Racks. You can purchase only the Ribbon Bar to slide onto existing ribbon racks or Purchase with Stacking Ribbon Rack in magnet or clutch pin style.

The ribbon is 32mm wide. It is a pale buff colour ribbon, which has one red stripe in the middle (9mm)with a narrow dark blue stripe (1.5mm) on to the the left of the red stripe and a narrow light blue stripe(1.5mm) to the right. The pale buff background symbolises the desert, the central red stripe symbolises the Army, the dark blue stripe symbolises the Navy and Merchant Navy, and the light blue stripe symbolises the Air Force.
